Hey guys! I know shopping for gifts online can sometimes seem a bit overwhelming, so hopefully I can answer some of your questions below so that you can look around with peace of mind! 1. What is xo, Shelby?

  • xo, Shelby is a labor of love born out of my love of timelessness paired with tangible paper pieces. Xo, Shelby is a place where we collaborate to create beautiful and functional pieces for you and those you love. 

2. Where does the name "xo, Shelby" come from?

  • When I was president of my sorority in college, I'd sign all of my emails with "xo, Shelby"; this then transferred to how I'd close letters and how I'd close emails when in graduate school and beyond! I always thought the salutation felt like it had a sweet southern hug attached to it, which is exactly the intention <3 Since then, xo, Shelby has become a blog and now a business all with the intention of creating an intersection of beauty and function where we can create together. 

3. What if I need a custom design? 

  • Custom designs are available as listings around the website. Please send over as much information for your request as you can at the time of ordering (comments box), but I will be in touch to discuss design ideas, timeline, and further details! 

4. What is your return policy? 

  • Due to the customized nature of our items, if there are any issues requiring replacement or re-order please contact Shelby directly at shelby@xoshelby.com

5. What is the turnaround time for products on the site?

  • Custom Items- once the custom order is placed you will be contacted within 48 hours via the email provided at checkout to begin the custom design process. If ideas and details were provided in the comments section, proofs will be provided within this 48 hours as well. Within 48 hours from customer communication you will receive proofs for one round of edits. Your item will be returned with edits made within 48 hours. Once item is finalized, order will be placed and you will receive your order within 305 business days. Basically, the most info you can provide at checkout the better and quicker <3 If you don't have ideas, no worries- we will certainly get you all set up it will just take an extra day or two! 
  • Items on Website- from time of ordering you will receive your item within 3-5 business days!

6. How do we get our products? Do you ship, offer local pick-up, or deliver?

  • Local pick-up in Covington, Paulina, and LaPlace available 
  • Shipping is offered at a $6 flat rate

7. Tell me more about shipping! 

  • Domestic shipping is offered via USPS or UPS with detailed tracking information available upon request. Your items will be shipped within 1 week of finalization and received confirmation of design for custom orders. xo, Shelby is not responsible for items lost in the mail secondary to insufficient address or insufficient forwarding address
